Mini Countryman John Cooper Works 2013

MINI capitalize on their investment in the WRC, as can be traversed as things with Prodrive. This is not an opinion but a fact that we can observe in a few days at the Geneva Motor Show. It will be there, in the most renowned European Tour Salon exhibition, where the British manufacturer will present the Countryman JCW version, which not so long ago we hinted at some "spy photos" officers and left little to the imagination.

So well known was because the design and even the technical section of the car no surprise, but let's go over it again: 1.6 liter, 218 hp and 280 Nm, a six-speed manual gearbox or an automatic with the same number of relationships, hardened stabilizer bars, suspension lowered by 10 mm and driving all four wheels. In cold, hard numbers, can accelerate from 0 to 100 in 7.0 seconds, reaching a top speed of 225 km / h (223 km / h in the automatic version) and suck the tank to an average of 7.2 liters 100 km. To be "the big MINI", the truth is that they are quite athletic figures.

Slightly less convincing aesthetics can be ... if only in the official photos. So what's new aerodynamic device are good measures and not superfluous (ugly Would aleroncito order a WRC style?), The combination chosen by MINI for the official album is questionable, a black over red could better take your presence, or even a black on white. Still, it's not hard to see a car with the plant that is expected of a JCW, and the interior has no blemish.

Back many more pictures in a few days, from the Geneva Motor Show.
